CV Villas has expanded its operations in Ireland following demand from the country’s travel trade for a luxury villa supplier offering total financial protection. Fully bonded packages tailored specifically for Irish travel agencies are now available to book. The luxury operator recently praised agents for a “remarkable jump” in shoulder season bookings, a trend that appears to have driven this market entry. As part of the launch, the company has secured commercial agreements with Travel Centres, a trade network supporting 70 agencies across Ireland, and Worldchoice Ireland, an established group of 60 independently owned retail travel agents. It will also work with Travel Counsellors, which has 80 advisors across Ireland, as well as Frosch Ireland, a Cork-based corporate travel management company.
CV Villas’ business development team began actively engaging with the Irish market in June 2025, and has since secured its Total Payment Protection Policy [TOPP] for all villa plus flight and villa plus car packages. This financial safety net is a significant selling point in a market where consumer trust often dictates the final decision. The company will also be able to offer flight-inclusive holiday packages available directly from Dublin, Shannon, and Cork using Aer Lingus and Ryanair. The expansion aims to provide Irish agents with a reliable alternative to standard package operators, filling a perceived gap in the market for high-end, secure villa holidays.

While the new agreements provide immediate access to a broad network of agents, the long-term stability of the Irish tourism sector depends on more than just distribution deals. The recent turbulence in global travel insurance markets has left many consumers wary of booking holidays, particularly for higher-value items like luxury villas. When a supplier can demonstrate that payments are fully protected by a recognized scheme like TOPP, it removes a major friction point for both the agent and the end traveler, potentially smoothing out the volatility that often characterizes the travel industry.
CV Villas recently added 60 new luxury villas to its portfolio of more than 900 properties, with additions spanning Mallorca, the Algarve, Puglia, the Bay of Cannes, Corfu and Montenegro. Several of these homes also fall under CV Villas’ ABOVE Collection, which offers fully-staffed accommodation and dedicated concierge service. This focus on high-touch service and property variety helps the company stand out against competitors who may rely on generic inventory listings. The combination of a large property base and specific collections like ABOVE allows the operator to cater to different client preferences, from those seeking privacy to those desiring full staff support.
