Two corporate travel technology providers have combined their systems to give companies real-time visibility into all employee travel bookings, even those made outside managed programs.
Traxo and Everbridge announced a live integration that streams booking data into Everbridge’s critical event management platform as soon as reservations are confirmed. The system captures flights, hotels, and ground transport booked through agencies, airlines, online travel agencies, or supplier apps—including those bypassing corporate travel policies.
Traxo’s AutoDetect technology scans more than 1,000 points of sale to extract and normalize itinerary details within seconds of purchase. The data then flows automatically into Everbridge, where risk teams can track traveler locations and routes before departure. This eliminates the delay that previously required expense reports to surface off-program bookings.
Duty-of-care programs often struggle when employees book directly with suppliers. According to Traxo’s data, air bookings made outside managed travel programs rose from 19% to 31% over recent years, a trend accelerating as travelers increasingly bypass corporate channels. The integration addresses this gap by ensuring all bookings—regardless of channel, are visible to security and risk teams.
Travelers retain full booking flexibility while companies gain earlier awareness of potential risks. For example, if an employee books a last-minute flight through an airline’s website, the itinerary appears in Everbridge immediately, allowing teams to assess risks like route disruptions or security alerts before the trip begins.

The partnership was announced on September 10, 2026, with mutual clients already operating the combined solution in production. No custom development is required; activation involves a simple authorization step, after which data flows between platforms within seconds. Both companies are SOC 2 Type II examined and support GDPR compliance, including configurable handling of personal and non-business travel.
The integration reflects broader challenges in travel risk management. Companies increasingly rely on flexible booking options, but unmanaged travel creates blind spots in emergency response. The system bridges this gap by treating all bookings, managed or not, as part of a single visibility layer.
This approach could reshape how organizations balance traveler autonomy with safety protocols. By eliminating the lag between booking and risk assessment, the integration may reduce the time between an incident and a response. However, its success will depend on adoption rates among companies with strict travel policies, where employees may still resist using non-approved channels despite the added safety layer.
Dave Wagner, CEO of Everbridge, framed the collaboration as a step toward fulfilling corporate responsibility. “Organizations have a responsibility to protect their people wherever business takes them,” he said. “By bringing Traxo’s real-time travel data into Everbridge, we can help customers identify potentially impacted travelers earlier, reach them faster, and provide the information and support they need as situations unfold.”
The companies will demonstrate the integration at GSX 2026 in Atlanta from September 14, 16, where they will discuss its role in travel risk management and duty of care. Support for existing and prospective clients will be provided through their respective partner networks.
