JW Marriott Bangkok introduces holistic wellness program

The JW Marriott Bangkok hotel has introduced The Art of Living Well, a new wellness initiative developed in partnership with Thai textile brand PASAYA and British skincare company ELEMIS. This program brings together three key wellness areas—sleep, skincare, and nutrition—to create a unified approach aimed at improving long-term health.

Three Foundations of Wellness

Central to the effort is a newly designed treatment space at SPA by JW, which blends PASAYA’s textile craftsmanship with ELEMIS’s skincare expertise. The room features a custom PASAYA Textile Wall Mural inspired by natural motifs, along with furnishings specifically chosen to encourage relaxation and recovery.

PASAYA’s involvement goes beyond decoration. The spa beds now use Coolagen 1100 bedding, a high-density fabric enriched with collagen peptides extracted from deep-sea fish scales. This material’s tightly woven structure stays cool against the skin while minimizing bacterial accumulation, a practical application of the brand’s belief that quality rest is the bedrock of well-being.

Beautiful Skin. The mask serves as both a product and a reminder that the spa’s restorative effects can extend into daily self-care routines.

Skincare and Recovery

This lightweight formula addresses dark circles, fine lines, and reduced elasticity around the eyes by combining Lumi Algae, Marine Bacillus Ferment, and Opal Skin Algae Complex, a proprietary blend developed in the UK to enhance skin firmness and resilience.

SPA by JW now offers three specialized ELEMIS facial therapies, each priced at THB 4,800++ for a 50-minute session. The Expert Touch Reveal Facial focuses on resurfacing and smoothing, the Renew Facial prioritizes hydration and firmness, and the Define Facial emphasizes rejuvenation and contouring. These treatments align with the collaboration’s broader goal of holistic restoration.

The newly designed treatment room serves as the exclusive setting for these facial therapies, merging scientific skincare with an environment crafted to promote deep relaxation. The space’s design reinforces that wellness depends not only on treatments but also on creating an atmosphere where guests can fully unwind and reconnect with themselves.

Nutrition and the JW Garden

The third component, Eat Well, reflects the hotel’s commitment to mindful dining. The initiative’s launch featured a special JW Garden dinner, showcasing dishes made with fresh produce, herbs, mushrooms, whole grains, and premium proteins. The menu included chilled Sichuan seafood dumplings with apple, long coriander and salmon caviar; forest mushroom consommé with lion’s mane mushroom, lemongrass, galangal and chrysanthemum; and jasmine tea-smoked tiger prawn with crispy garlic sauce. A tomahawk platter was accompanied by riceberry rice, quinoa and roasted king oyster mushroom, followed by mango pudding with raspberry sherbet, bird’s nest and gold leaf. Ingredients from the JW Garden also featured in the experience, connecting the dinner to the brand’s wider focus on mindful nourishment and the natural world.

While created especially for the launch, the wellness-inspired menu can also be curated upon request for group meetings and catered events at JW Marriott Bangkok, offering an opportunity to bring the Eat Well philosophy to private gatherings and occasions.
